Junior Girls Development Program – Technical Director Announcement

The Kingfishers are pleased to announce the appointing of Sam Ford as Technical Director of our Junior Girls Development program.

Sam brings to the club ‘A’ Level Coaching Qualifications and currently plays in the NNSW NPL. We hope you will all make Sam welcome around the grounds. Sam will not only be working on our development program for players, but will also assist in improving coaching at the club.

The development program will run as an add on program initially for girls to undertake an additional night of structured training based around the Skills Acquisition Programs (SAP) at other clubs. Girls will still play in their preferred teams for season 2018.

Our aim is to keep this additional development program affordable and attainable to all. Fees will be announced shortly with more details on the program.

The program will have two seasons, Winter and Summer allowing players to continue to train during the offseason along with other initiatives we are developing.

Further details on the structure, cost and dates for commencement of the program will be outlined shortly, but please share amongst your friends and contact the club on gardensuburbfc@macquariefootball.net.au for more info or to register your interest.
