There is currently a bye due to the late withdrawal of a team, if you know of anyone who would like to take the last spot in the mens comp, put them in touch with us so we can get rid of the bye.

Could all players please complete registration on the MyFootball website before Tuesday and bring their registration money to the game, or pay via direct deposit.

Remember, the club will be a licensed venue for the Summer Sixes competition, so please do not bring any alcohol to the game. The canteen will be open selling Food (stick around for dinner), Drinks and Alcohol.
Garden Suburb FC are seeking new coaching staff for our Zone Premier League and are asking for any interested parties to submit Expression.
Positions are open for First Grade, Reserve Grade and Third Grade.
This season we were in the Zone Premier League and with the promotion of New Lambton from the ZPL we will be seeking to retain our position in the competition for 2017.

We are holding a working bee this weekend on Saturday 1st October starting at 8am.
The day will involve topdressing some of the bare areas on the top ground to help the grass grow during the off season. We will also be looking to clear out some drains to assist with drainage.
If you can spare some time to assist it would be greatly appreciated by the club.
Bring whatever tools you have, but Shovels, Rakes, Wheelbarrows, brush cutters etc would be useful.

We have closed the grounds this weekends to all games. The games have been postponed and will now be played next weekend, Fri 12 and Sat 13th August.
Photos will now be held on either Thursday evening or Saturday (13th Aug).
The grounds have been inspected today and are holding a lot of water. The pitches aren’t suitable for training so all grounds are CLOSED and training is OFF tonight.
We will update tomorrow and saturday for the weekends games.
This season the Kingfishers will be hosting Preliminary finals in the O35, All Age Mens and Women and Junior Competitions.
The games will be over the weekend of Fri 26th August – Sun 28th August.
We expect this to be a huge weekend for the club and a major fundraiser through the canteen.
To make the weekend run smooth we are looking for volunteers from across the club (players, parents, family, etc) to get involved and volunteer their time.
The club is requesting all senior teams (All Age, O35 and ZPL) to fill a session below to assist, given senior teams have only minimal duties throughout the season and are not required to man the canteen. We will require 5 people at all times to assist on canteen (2), duty officer (2) and extra for Bbq assistance or duty officer depending on what is required.
We wil also welcome any volunteers from junior teams. The more hands we have the easier the weekend will be.
Time slots as follows:
– Friday 445pm – 745pm including ground setup (Sat O35 C’s)
– Friday 745pm – 1045pm including ground pull down (Sat O35 A’s)
– Saturday 745am – 1100am including ground set up
– Saturday 1100am – 300pm
– Saturday 300pm – 615pm including ground pull down
– Sunday 745am – 1100am including ground setup
– Sunday 1100am – 230pm including ground pull down.
It will be first in best dressed to fill the sessions so please advise and we can allocate a session
Once again we will be hosing Northern NSW Footballs AIA Vitality Mini Roos for Girls Clinics.
These clinics were a huge success at the club last season and are great for girls wanting to try the sport as well as for existing players wanting to keep playing for a bit longer after the season finishes.
If you know any girls who may want to try the sport, share this post or let them know.
The program runs for 1 hour a week for 10 weeks during school term 4. Cost is $120 and includes;
